1) Your shoes can play a major role in the treatment. Don’t use the same shoes daily if possible. At least two pairs of the shoes for you that you can wear alternately. Do not forget to disinfect your shoes with a good antifungal spray.

2) Keep your finger nails and feet nails clean. Dry your hands and feet thoroughly after washing or bathing and use foot powder.

3) Don’t walk with barefoot around public pools, showers, and locker rooms.

4) Select your footwear’s carefully. Always use socks that absorb moisture and change them as often as necessary. Avoid tight and enclosed shoes.

5) Do not bite your nails and don’t cut your nails too short to avoid injury.

6) Use rubber gloves also if you come in contact with water often. Dry the gloves afterwards.
